Alexandra Blankenbiller, a 31-year-old social media star, spent her last days recounting her experience on TikTok in a hospital bed in Florida. Nine days after her last video went online. Alexandra, who had not been vaccinated, died tragically of complications related to the coronavirus.
Before she died, the TikTok Toe star asked others not to hesitate to get vaccinated to protect them from the deadly virus. Jacksonville, a native of Florida, told her 16,300 followers in her last Tiktok update, “I do not have much energy to speak, so I’ll try to speed this up.”
“I did not get the vaccine and I am not anti-wax. I tried my research. And I was scared.” She continued to reveal that she believed it was wrong to be reluctant to tingle.” I think it is a mistake,” she confessed in the video. ” And I do not have to wait.
If you are at least 70 percent sure you need the vaccine, get it. Don’t wait. Get it. Because if you get it, we hope you will not come to the hospital like me.”
The star’s last video was shot from her hospital bed. And viewed 905,000 times since it was uploaded on August 15.
WebMD reported that Alexandra lost the fight against the bug nine days later. During her stay in a Florida hospital, Tiktok Vlogger released four videos to her channel.
In one clip, she talks about her decision to wait for a life-saving shot. And how she and her family planned to go on their shooting together.
“It’s okay to ask questions, but let me tell you, I spent weeks thinking about getting it. And was ready to get it. But honestly, I waited because I tried to do it for my whole family at once,” the 31-year-old said before her tragic death. “But if you’re in my boat and you’re looking to convince someone else to do it with you, don’t do it. Get vaccinated.”
The late star had set aside time with her mother and two sisters to get the vaccine but fell ill before receiving the FDA-approved vaccine. After Alexandra’s death, her sister, infected with the coronavirus, spoke openly about the epidemic’s ‘misinformation.’
“It’s no secret that this is a serious matter,” Cristina Blankenbiller told WebMD.
“But there’s a lot of misinformation.” After being hospitalized, Alexandra traveled to Tiktok to make her first video. And also, in the background, screams of pain can be heard as Florida experiences the worst coronavirus outbreak since last year.
The first of Alexandra’s four videos reads: “I got vid [Covid]. Don’t wait to get vaccinated! Go, go now !! And please send me a good shock, please stay in the muffins!” Sister Rachel Blankenbiller says that Tiktok’s desire to help others when sick shows how ‘selfish’ she was. In her tribute to her dead sister, she told Webmidi: “Her last video showed a lot about who she is.
“She was selfish. And also, she was a person who used her last days to help others.” She said she found beauty in everything and everyone. “She loved people without judgment. Whether you want her love or not, you will get it.”
